Boys Trip - Carsten's Early 10th Birthday

Carsten got a big surprise Memorial Day weekend. We pretended to go to the Meyer's for the weekend. The boys were told they were running an errand with the Dads. Next thing they knew they were on their way to Beaufort, SC to camp at Hunting Island. The boys had a blast camping, swimming and the best... fishing for their meals. Carsten caught a pretty big fish and it made his day!

Fifth Grade Day

Hard to believe my girl is graduating 5th grade. The graduation was sweet (but long). The highlight of the day was when all the kids in the entire school lined the hallways to cheer for the fifth grade classes as they walked down the hallway. It was the sweetest thing ever. Caitlin's class made a banner for all the 5th grade siblings. Too cute!
Carissa was awarded the Principal's Honor Roll, which is all A's. We are very proud of her, especially for making all A's (and E's in Kindergarten) her entire time in Elementary career!

Caitlin's Crazy Bike Ride *WARNING GROSS PICTURES*

Caitlin decided to go for a bike ride after school. Next thing I knew, she was standing at the garage door hollering for a band-aid. Needless to say she needed more than a band-aid. She had fallen off the bike and split her chin WIDE open. Dad met us at the hospital where Caitlin was a trooper! She watched the whole procedure and chatted up the doctor. She ended up with 9 stitches. She healed quickly and enjoyed the extra attention at school.
